Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience (public accounting and/or industry).
  • Strong experience in general accounting, consolidation, and financial reporting.
  • Deep understanding of US GAAP and the ability to draft technical accounting memos that stand up to audit scrutiny.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI to automate and streamline accounting processes.
  • Open-minded and collaborative team player with the willingness to help others.
  • Excitement in supporting a fast-paced high-growth environment.
  • Startup/rapidly growing technology company experience (Bonus/nice to have).
  • ERP/financial system implementation (Bonus/nice to have).
  • Licensed CPA (Bonus/nice to have).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.
  • Manage consolidation of financial statements across entities.
  • Prepare and review US GAAP financial statements.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of general ledger activity.
  • Automate accounting processes using AI, including consolidation, financial statements preparation, close, reconciliations, and reporting workflows.
  • Identify and implement AI-driven efficiencies to reduce manual work and improve accuracy.
  • Partner cross-functionally to improve systems, data flow, and reporting.
  • Support audit processes and maintain audit-ready documentation.
  • Additional ad hoc projects and responsibilities as assigned.
