Requirements
- MScN/MN (NP stream) with provincial NP licensure
- NP state licenses in a minimum of 3 provinces
- Minimum 3 years of Nurse Practitioner experience
- 2+ years in a lead-type role or demonstrated experience managing projects, initiatives, or team efforts within clinical teams
- Interest in educating and mentoring other providers and contributing to the growth of a high-performing care team
- A desire to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment, with enthusiasm for startups, evolving processes, and collaborative problem-solving
- Comfort with ambiguity and pivots
- Background in primary care, radiology, oncology, or concierge medicine preferred
- Proficiency in performing consults, active listening, and patient education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills across digital and in-person channels
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a distributed team
- High digital fluency and comfort with clinical documentation tools
- Reliability and motivation
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients before MRI procedures, including reviewing medical history.
- Collaborate with the Prenuvo Medical Group and referring practitioners to determine the appropriateness of MRI procedures for patients.
- Educate patients about the MRI process, address their questions and concerns, and provide emotional support.
- Educate patients on their MRI scan results, findings, and next steps.
- Provide guidance on lifestyle modifications, self-care, and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient care.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to patient documentation and confidentiality.
- Collaborate effectively with the radiology team, including radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
- Collaborate with the clinical teams on quality improvement initiatives
