Requirements

Design obsession: notices inconsistencies, values simplicity, foresees UX issues.
Management experience: directly managed designers, provides feedback, raises standards.
Cross-platform experience: designed across web, mobile, and internal tools.
Zero-to-one experience: built products or design systems from scratch.
Hands-on capability: still enjoys and participates in design work.
UX research ownership: defined approach, synthesized findings, translated into design decisions.
Copy and content design: experience with language and design integration.
Nice to have: Regulated environment experience (healthcare, finance).
Nice to have: European & US market experience.

Responsibilities

Build a design system from scratch, including brand colours, typography, tone of voice, component libraries, and processes for consistency.
Redesign the clinical dashboard, starting from first principles to create a user-friendly experience for clinicians.
Own the design refresh of the mobile and web experience, setting standards for future development.
Structure internal tools around the CX team's workflow to improve efficiency.
Manage and provide direction to the current team of 2 Product Designers (Melissa and Shannen), and grow the design function through hiring.
