Requirements
- 10+ years of enterprise sales or business development experience, with a strong track record of closing complex, high-value deals.
- Experience selling into Life Sciences organizations (pharma, biotech, CROs) is required, and candidates may bring a combination of Life Sciences and healthcare technology sales experience.
- Experience selling advanced technology solutions, such as AI, machine learning, data, analytics, or SaaS platforms.
- Experience selling emerging solutions that require consultative, solution-based selling is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with clinical development and clinical trial workflows, including an understanding of key stakeholders, processes, and challenges within pharmaceutical and biotech organizations.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully targeting and developing leads, building and managing pipelines, crafting proposals, and closing high-value accounts to drive subscription-based revenue.
- Entrepreneurial and scrappy mindset, with experience thriving in high-growth environments where autonomy, adaptability, and speed are critical.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and earn trust across all organizational levels, including C-suite executives.
- Highly resourceful and resilient, able to navigate ambiguity, address complex customer questions, and creatively overcome objections.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for building new business and consistently exceeding sales targets.
- Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to manage pipeline, forecast revenue, and track performance metrics.
Responsibilities
- Drive growth by targeting and securing new business opportunities within Life Science organizations, effectively positioning IMO Health’s solutions.
- Boost revenue by developing and executing strategic sales plans that achieve and surpass financial targets, focusing on IMO Health’s data quality products.
- Cultivate and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers to expand IMO Health’s client base and strengthen market presence.
- Identify and Secure New Opportunities: Proactively target, qualify, and advance new sales opportunities within Life Science organizations, ensuring the successful closure of deals to drive revenue growth.
- Manage Sales Strategies: Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue goals for IMO’s data quality products, including data normalization and NLP solutions.
- Client Engagement: Create and implement detailed client engagement plans with specific objectives for all interactions, including calls and meetings, to build strong relationships and drive sales.
- Sales Presentations and Collateral: Design and deliver impactful sales presentations and develop high-quality collateral that effectively communicates the value of IMO’s solutions.
- Pipeline Management: Build and manage a strong revenue pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and progression of opportunities through the sales cycle.
- Forecasting and Reporting: Own and maintain accurate business forecasts, providing clear visibility and predictability to sales leadership for effective decision-making.
