Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of business development experience with a primary focus on selling in the healthcare or life sciences domain.
- Proven track record of solution-based consulting services or professional services selling in the clinical research industry.
- Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred.
- Demonstrated success negotiating MSAs and growing business with existing clients.
- Experience in an FSP sales model is highly preferred.
- Strong executive presence with excellent communication and consultative selling skills.
- Expertise in proposal development and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experienced in leading sales teams with a motivational, hands-on approach.
- Highly skilled in managing robust sales pipelines and achieving/exceeding revenue goals.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, growth-focused approach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite of applications (i.e. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and experience with CRM tools (i.e., HubSpot, Salesforce).
Responsibilities
- Report to the CEO and act as a strategic advisor within a high impact, fast-growth environment.
- Drive new client acquisition by promoting Vitalief’s consulting and FSP services—plus future technology solutions.
- Cultivate executive-level relationships with sponsors, CROs, and research sites to establish trusted partnerships.
- Build, lead and mentor the business development team, drive accountability, manage pipelines, and achieve revenue; operating in a lead by example management style.
- Develop and execute detailed account plans and growth strategies to exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to craft tailored offerings that address client challenges and deliver measurable impact.
- Lead the development of compelling proposals, SOWs, and presentations. Negotiate pricing and contract terms with confidence.
- Represent Vitalief at conferences and networking events to increase brand awareness and generate qualified leads.
