Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related quantitative field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or similar technical roles
- Strong SQL expertise and proven experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines
- Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure Synapse
- Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
- Proficiency in Python or another scripting language is a strong plus
- Experience working with financial, accounting, or operational datasets is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value
- Ability to work directly with stakeholders in a consulting or multi-client environment
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable data warehouses, ETL/ELT pipelines, and analytics infrastructure
- Translate complex and ambiguous business needs into structured, data-driven solutions that support decision-making
- Build and maintain automated reporting systems and workflows ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of data outputs
- Develop dashboards and visualization tools to support financial, operational, and executive reporting needs
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across finance, accounting, and operations to define data requirements and deliver solutions
- Implement and enforce best practices in data governance, architecture, and data quality management
- Support system integrations, data migrations, and modernization efforts during acquisitions or platform transitions
- Manage technical initiatives such as API integrations, master data restructuring, and process automation projects
