Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, healthcare, business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in application support, healthcare IT, or related technical environments
- Experience working with enterprise or clinical systems (EHR, scheduling, billing, imaging, or similar platforms) is highly valued
- Strong understanding of system configuration, testing, implementation, and application lifecycle management
- Ability to analyze issues, collect data, and develop structured, effective solutions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Project), including data analysis functions such as pivot tables
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to document processes and explain technical concepts clearly
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under minimal supervision, and deliver within deadlines
- Epic certification or willingness to obtain certification is preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide application support by diagnosing issues, identifying root causes, and delivering timely resolutions aligned with service standards
- Gather, validate, and translate business and technical requirements into functional specifications and system configurations
- Configure, test, implement, monitor, and maintain healthcare applications, workflows, and related technologies
- Document workflows, system changes, and technical designs while recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and usability
- Partner with vendors to support third-party application integration, implementation, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance
- Manage small to mid-size projects, including planning, execution, resource coordination, and delivery tracking
- Develop testing plans, scripts, and validation activities to ensure system integrity and performance
- Participate in on-call support, command center activities, and cross-team collaboration as needed
