Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in program management, transformation leadership, or portfolio delivery within complex, matrixed environments.
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience leading and developing teams, including performance management, coaching, and talent development.
- Strong track record of managing cross-functional programs involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Experience overseeing governance frameworks, budgets, risks, dependencies, and executive reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and drive alignment.
- Familiarity with healthcare, payer/provider operations, or regulated industries is strongly preferred.
- Experience with enterprise program delivery practices, portfolio governance, and benefits realization.
- Ability to make decisions in ambiguous environments while maintaining focus on outcomes and execution quality.
- PMP certification or equivalent program management credential preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of project managers, fostering performance excellence, engagement, and career growth through continuous feedback, mentoring, and structured development planning.
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of complex payment programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource capacity.
- Manage program governance, including risk identification, dependency tracking, escalation management, and executive-level reporting.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders across product, technology, operations, finance, and R&D to drive alignment and execution of strategic initiatives.
- Monitor portfolio health, team workload, and delivery performance, ensuring balanced resource allocation and operational efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement in program delivery methodologies, tools, and standards to enhance execution quality and scalability.
- Serve as a key communication bridge to senior stakeholders, providing clear updates on progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Support organizational initiatives such as hiring, onboarding, succession planning, and talent retention within the program management function.
