Requirements
- Prior experience in customer service, collections, or a call center environment
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills with a customer-first mindset
- Bilingual certification through Alta Language Testing (required)
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and negotiation skills
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, collections, or healthcare billing environments (preferred)
- Basic understanding of medical billing and insurance processes (preferred)
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and excellent customer service behaviors
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to support patients with billing inquiries, complaints, and financial requests
- Use multiple systems to research, document, and resolve patient billing issues accurately and efficiently
- Provide clear, empathetic, and patient-friendly communication through phone and electronic channels
- Assist patients in resolving financial responsibilities by collecting payments, setting up payment plans, or explaining assistance programs
- Ensure high performance in productivity, quality standards, and first contact resolution goals
- Collaborate within the Revenue Service Organization to ensure consistent and accurate service delivery
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and resolutions
