- Minimum of a Masters degree in one of the following: Dietetics, Human Nutrition, Nutrition and Population Health, Public Health or Food Science
- 5+ years industry experience
- Comfortable with hard science units (pathophysiology, biology, chemistry, biochemistry), as well as health promotion and nutrition
- Empathetic: Understand the challenges faced by online learners
- Organised & proactive: Able to manage time and responsibilities independently
- Tech-confident: Comfortable navigating online learning platforms
- Student-focused: Passionate about helping students succeed
- Flexibility to work sessional part-time: hours typically ranging from 4-8 per week
- Located in Australia
Responsibilities
- Facilitating learning activities that engage and retain students
- Marking assessments and providing meaningful, constructive feedback
- Supporting communication through discussion boards, emails, and live sessions – ensuring visibility to students every 24-48 hours
- Collaborating with academic teams to maintain unit quality
- Upholding OES values to foster a positive team culture and student experience
