Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, English, Media Studies, or related field preferred
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in content writing, copywriting, editorial, or digital publishing
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong portfolio demonstrating editorial and digital writing versatility
- Strong understanding of SEO, keyword integration, and content performance metrics
- Excellent research, editing, and proofreading skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently in a remote environment
- Proficiency in CMS platforms, Microsoft Office / Google Workspace, and AI productivity tools
- Media / publishing / digital marketing / agency background preferred
- Experience in interview-based writing, script writing, podcasts, or thought leadership content
- Familiarity with WordPress or similar publishing platforms
Responsibilities
- Develop clear, engaging, and high-quality content for articles, blogs, website copy, editorials, interviews, and branded content pieces
- Write compelling copy for social media campaigns, newsletters, email marketing, and promotional collateral
- Produce SEO-optimized content to improve search visibility and support digital marketing initiatives
- Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, market developments, and audience preferences
- Collaborate closely with marketing, design, editorial, and creative teams on integrated campaigns
- Maintain consistency in tone, messaging, and editorial quality across all communication channels
- Edit, proofread, and refine content to maintain professional standards
- Support content planning, ideation, and editorial calendar development
