Requirements
- Active Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor license in Maryland
- Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related mental health field
- Experience providing therapy to adults, families, couples, or adolescents
- Comfortable delivering services through telehealth
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage a full-time clinical caseload
- Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for virtual sessions
- Familiarity with electronic health records and online documentation systems
Responsibilities
- Provide individual counseling services through a secure telehealth platform
- Complete clinical assessments and gather relevant client history
- Develop treatment plans based on each client’s needs and goals
- Use evidence-based therapy methods appropriate to the client’s presentation
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical notes, treatment plans, and documentation
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans when clinically appropriate
- Follow ethical, legal, and professional standards for remote mental health care
- Coordinate care or provide referrals when additional support is needed
