Requirements
- You bring 7+ years of experience in performance marketing, with a strong track record in scaling brands in e-Com/D2C business models
- You have 2+ years of experience leading a strong inhouse team (+ agencies) with end-to-end ownership of the full process, incl. creative strategy, creative production & media buying + have also held operational roles in Paid Social throughout your career
- You have strong expertise in Google either through leadership roles in Performance Marketing or previous operational positions
- You have successfully built in-house performance teams, incl. strong, diversified & high velocity creative pipelines, and thrive in environments where structures, processes, and growth engines need to be built from the ground.
- You combine analytical skills with customer-driven thinking, and marketing-/Sales talent to identify opportunities and bottlenecks and translate them into clear hypotheses and testing roadmaps
- You own and drive execution with structured planning, testing & learning, managing your team & stakeholders - with high intrinsic motivation, proactivity and detail orientation + strong grit and perseverence to make things work on the long run
- You deeply understand customer needs, messaging, and value propositions, and translate them into high-converting journeys, strong Message-Market-Fit, and effective full-funnel communication.
- You stay on top of platform developments, algorithm changes, new tools & trends, growth hacks & tactis for the different channels, and continuously develop your channel strategies, testing roadmaps and infrastructure to the next level
- Experience in subscription commerce
- Familiarity with complex acquisition funnels and longer customer journeys
Responsibilities
- Own and scale our performance marketing channels with a strong focus on Meta & Google – with a strong focus on NC growth within our subscription based E-Com/D2C model.
- Audit the current setup and performance across channels, identify growth levers and define a clear channel strategy and monthly roadmap for key growth initiatives
- Unlock new audiences on Meta & Google through creative/ad strategy, roadmap, and execution excellence (incl. on-platform sales tactics) and continuous conversion optimization for key on-site funnels (incl. LPs) by systematically analyzing channel metrics, on-site KPIs, and conducting structured qualitative creative reviews.
- Drive creative excellence, and message-market-fit optimization across the full customer journey by proactively generating customer insights, regularly exchanging with internal teams and your external network, and conducting ongoing competitor & best practice analyses
- Further build and lead a high-performing in-house team for Meta & Google (incl. creative strategy & high scale in-house production) and establish scalable, efficient processes and a tech-enabled backbone (incl. systematic usage of AI)
- Drive further growth through structurally testing new performance marketing channels (e.g., TikTok, Native, etc.) with clearly defined targets, and execution roadmaps
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Design, Product/Customer, other Sales Channels, Ops, etc.) to align roadmaps and maximize business impact.
- Stay ahead of platform developments, algorithm changes, and best practices (incl. a sharp eye on the US & UK as leading markets) – and proactively apply them to optimize campaign setup and creative strategy.
