Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of Backend development fundamentals.
- Proficient in or willing to learn TypeScript, NestJS, and React.
- Used to or eager to leverage AI coding assistants to build secure, high-quality code and automate routine tasks.
- Customer-centric and understand the business impact of your technical decisions.
- Detail-oriented developer, coding so others can read and work with your code.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Experience using AI-powered tools and frameworks to support software development, testing, or automation (amazing if).
- Prior experience in the Fintech sector or with Payments processing technologies, particularly within the Mexican ecosystem (amazing if).
- Experience building large-scale platforms with a global reach (amazing if).
- Security-first engineer, familiar with best practices for handling sensitive financial data (amazing if).
- Leveraged AI to fundamentally change the way you work and / or build amazing projects (amazing if).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain features for our Mexican payments ecosystem, ensuring high reliability and security in a regulated environment.
- Build secure and high-quality code using TypeScript, NestJS on the backend, and React on the frontend, leveraging AI tools to optimize your workflow and output.
- Be customer-focused: understand the impact your code has on our clients and proactively tackle potential improvements and pain points.
- Create excellent documentation and continuously improve the “developer experience” of Belvo’s platform.
- Implement automated quality assurance and monitoring modules to ensure platform stability.
- Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to drive the execution and delivery of new features.
