Requirements
- 4+ years of experience building and shipping full-stack web applications in production environments
- Proficiency with TypeScript

- Strong foundation in data modeling
- Strong foundation in API design
- Ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability in production systems
- Comfortable integrating with third-party APIs and external platforms across accounting, commerce, or logistics domains
- Pragmatic engineer with a bias toward outcomes
- Comfortable with ambiguity — able to decompose fuzzy asks, prioritize independently, and ship without a complete spec
- Enjoy working with customers and turning complex operational pain points into smart, maintainable software
Responsibilities
- Scope ambiguous customer asks, prototype quickly, and iterate into stable customer deployments using Tailor’s platform
- Engage with customers with our Forward Deployed Product Manager to understand the customer needs, and iterate into stable customer deployments using Tailor’s platform
- Productize repeatable solutions, turning bespoke implementations into scalable modules for accounting, e-commerce, logistics, and other workflows
- Build and ship production-grade features across our stack — from front-end UIs to backend APIs, integrations, and data models
- Work with the founding team to shape engineering standards, developer experience, and platform architecture as we grow
