Requirements

  • 5+ years of accounting or finance experience
  • Strong experience with accrual accounting / GAAP financials
  • Experience managing multi-entity businesses
  • Experience managing multi-location businesses
  • Experience managing multi-segment businesses
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise
  • Advanced Excel skills: XLOOKUP
  • Advanced Excel skills: INDEX/MATCH
  • Advanced Excel skills: Pivot Tables
  • Advanced Excel skills: Data Tables
  • Payroll experience (Gusto or similar platforms)
  • Experience with U.S. sales tax filings
  • Strong written and verbal English communication

Responsibilities

  • Execute month-end and year-end close with speed and accuracy
  • Prepare financial statements: Balance Sheet, Income Statement (P&L), Supporting schedules
  • Process payroll using platforms like Gusto (or similar systems)
  • Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Maintain general ledger accuracy across multiple entities
  • Calculate and file U.S. state sales tax accurately and on time
  • Build custom reports to support business insights
  • Review and improve accounting workflows
  • Communicate with leadership on priorities and deliverables
