Requirements
- 5+ years of accounting or finance experience
- Strong experience with accrual accounting / GAAP financials
- Experience managing multi-entity businesses
- Experience managing multi-location businesses
- Experience managing multi-segment businesses
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise
- Advanced Excel skills: XLOOKUP
- Advanced Excel skills: INDEX/MATCH
- Advanced Excel skills: Pivot Tables
- Advanced Excel skills: Data Tables
- Payroll experience (Gusto or similar platforms)
- Experience with U.S. sales tax filings
- Strong written and verbal English communication
Responsibilities
- Execute month-end and year-end close with speed and accuracy
- Prepare financial statements: Balance Sheet, Income Statement (P&L), Supporting schedules
- Process payroll using platforms like Gusto (or similar systems)
- Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Maintain general ledger accuracy across multiple entities
- Calculate and file U.S. state sales tax accurately and on time
- Build custom reports to support business insights
- Review and improve accounting workflows
- Communicate with leadership on priorities and deliverables
