Requirements

- Utilise your knowledge and experience of Golang build new backend services for the system
- Develop sophisticated, responsive web applications using React, Node and TypeScript
- Design and optimise schemas while managing data integrity within SQL environments like MariaDB or PostgreSQL
- Apply "clean code" principles and language-specific idioms (Go/TS) to lead code reviews and establish high-quality engineering benchmarks for the team
- Champion software quality by writing comprehensive automated unit tests to ensure long-term stability
- Harness AI tools to accelerate your development productivity and successfully deploy AI-driven features into production environments
Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimise a high-performance Node/TypeScript backend while spearheading the development of new microservices in Golang to evolve the team's technical capabilities
- Deliver polished React and TypeScript applications that provide enterprise customers with intuitive interfaces and a seamless user experience
- Take full ownership of features from ideation to production, collaborating with Product to define requirements and managing the entire CI/CD and monitoring lifecycle
- Act as a strategic technical voice, navigating the trade-offs between existing systems and new technologies while communicating architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Serve as a key voice in technical strategy, effectively reasoning through complex trade-offs and communicating architectural decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
