Requirements
- Strong foundation in storage and data architectures including SAN, NAS, object storage, and parallel file systems.
- Understanding of data and storage protocols such as S3, NFS, SMB, and POSIX, as well as networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, RDMA, InfiniBand).
- Experience or familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure, HPC environments, or high-performance distributed systems.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for both technical and executive audiences.
- Experience in pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting roles (0–8+ years depending on level).
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and drive outcomes in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills and customer-facing experience, with a collaborative and consultative approach.
- Curiosity for emerging technologies in AI infrastructure and distributed computing systems.
Responsibilities
- Partner with enterprise customers to deeply understand technical requirements and business challenges related to AI, analytics, and high-performance computing workloads.
- Design and architect scalable storage and data infrastructure solutions supporting AI/ML training, GPU clusters, and data-intensive applications.
- Develop technical proposals, system architectures, and BOMs for complex enterprise opportunities and RFPs.
- Lead and execute demos, proof-of-concepts, and performance benchmarking activities to validate solution effectiveness.
- Integrate storage solutions with modern ecosystems including Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and AI frameworks.
- Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams, providing field insights to influence roadmap and innovation.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the full sales cycle, from discovery to deployment.
