- Experience
- Minimum of 2 years (3,600 hours) of experience in the ED, Inpatient Medicine, or Post-Acute Care. Highly Desirable: 5+ years of experience
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted state licensure and certification as an APRN/NP or PA-C in New York, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, or Texas (Compact License is preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years (3,600 hours) of experience in the ED, Inpatient Medicine, or Post-Acute Care.
- Strong clinical decision-making
- BLS certification required (ACLS preferred).
- Dedicated, private workspace with reliable high-speed internet suitable for video visits.
Responsibilities
- Perform problem-focused assessments and health screenings via telehealth video visits.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs, EKGs, and POCUS.
- Direct therapeutic interventions such as IV fluids, medication administration, and wound care.
- Coordinate testing, follow-ups, and communicate with referring clinicians to "close the loop" post-visit.
- Integrate patient goals and palliative principles into comprehensive care plans.
- Educate patients and families on managing health and treatment protocols.
