- Demonstrable experience in operations or manufacturing within a relevant industry.
- Strong background in bushing or related processes, with proven expertise in process improvement and automation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change and overcome resistance in transitioning from manual to automated processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for driving innovation and efficiency.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with experience working in multicultural environments.
- Willingness to travel internationally to support global projects and training initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Act as the global process expert in Bushing manufacturing related to process, methods and equipment in the entire Transformer Components business and product scope.
- Drive standardization of process and equipment in own manufacturing area.
- Optimize / improve the manufacturing operations maximizing the asset utilization, at lowest cost, while making sure that the quality standards and customer requirements are met
- Develop standard equipment requirements, linked with process performance and critical to quality characteristics, as well as taking Sustainability as a key goal.
- Partner with global suppliers and internal stakeholders to define standard equipment requirements and ensure alignment with critical-to-quality characteristics
- Provide expert guidance on equipment selection, upgrades, relocations, and process optimization
- Develop and maintain documentations such as Production Standards, Quality Inspection Cards, User Manuals and Training & Certificate material
- Lead or support insulation-related investment projects and technology transfers to enhance manufacturing capabilities
