  • Ability to do the work directly (e.g., write landing pages, brief podcasts, create short-form video)
  • Experience building or rebuilding a marketing function
  • Thinks in distribution first
  • AI-native in a real way, having built systems with agents, automations, content workflows, and research pipelines with measurable results

Responsibilities

  • Own market presence and top-of-funnel growth
  • Be a public face of AWeber by publishing, posting, speaking, and engaging in conversations
  • Build relationships that turn into distribution and revenue with creators, partners, and community builders
  • Own the full marketing funnel: Acquisition, activation, expansion, retention
  • Lead the team as a player-coach, hiring and developing talent, and setting the standard through personal work
  • Sharpen positioning and product marketing to ensure the right people know the value of AWeber's products
  • Build an AI-native marketing function by designing systems, agents, and workflows for efficiency
  • Stay close to customers through direct interaction and ensuring their voice shapes marketing efforts
