Requirements
- 5+ years of Java Backend experience (Java 21 or higher), covering Java SE and Java EE applications
- Deep knowledge of Software Architectures (Microservices, N-Tier)
- Experience with highly scalable, distributed applications
- Proficiency in Spring/Spring Boot
- Proficiency in SOAP XML-based protocols and JAX-WS
- Hands-on experience with AWS (S3, Kinesis, RDS, Lambdas, ECR, EKS, Cloudfront, ALB)
- Expertise in DevOps tools (Kubernetes, Terragrunt, Terraform)
- Experience with Big Data processing via Streams or Batches (Spring Batch)
- Advanced Oracle SQL, ORM frameworks, JPA, and store procedures
- Outstanding English communication skills
- Ability to explain complex architectural trade-offs to stakeholders
- Ability to collaborate fluently in a global environment
- Proven experience leading technical teams or guiding cross-functional engineering initiatives (Highly Desirable)
- Ability to proactively identify technological advancements (Highly Desirable)
Responsibilities
- Architectural Design: Conceptualize and generate the high-level infrastructure that allows big data to be accessed, processed, and analyzed with high efficiency.
- Technical Strategy: Attend to both business and technical considerations when designing solutions to project/team or company-related issues.
- System Integrity: Review and audit updated software systems to ensure they align with the broader architectural vision and performance standards.
- Advanced Engineering: Write advanced programming code for mission-critical components and prepare raw data for complex manipulation.
- Standard Evolution: Lead the evolution of company-level best practices, standards, and policies as they relate to global software development.
- Knowledge Advocacy: Demonstrate a deep interest in improving the company’s technical awareness and the sophisticated use of technology across the business.
