Experience: 7+ years

Requirements

7+ years of experience in finance transformation, controllership, FP&A, transaction services, financial operations, or related domains
Strong understanding of finance processes, internal controls, and how CFO organizations consume analysis and recommendations
Experience working with technology teams, product teams, or transformation programs
Ability to turn business expectations into structured validation criteria
Ability to distinguish theoretical correctness from real-world usability
Strong judgment, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Comfortability making quality calls in ambiguous scenarios
CPA or similar background is a plus
Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities

Define finance-oriented validation criteria for workflows involving accounting, close, reporting, FP&A, transaction support, analytics, or CFO decision support
Translate finance process expectations into realistic scenarios, exception cases, and acceptance standards
Partner with QA and Engineering to identify where outputs could create business risk, control breakdowns, or materially misleading outcomes
Help determine which workflows require enhanced review, human signoff, or restricted deployment
Coordinate fractional finance QA reviewers from practices for high-risk releases and scenario validation
Create a lightweight but repeatable process for domain-level review
Advise pods on business correctness, not just technical functionality
Review evaluation results and help distinguish low-value issues from materially important issues
Identify patterns where technically passing outputs are still operationally weak, confusing, or risky
Feed finance-domain insights back into benchmark sets and release criteria
