Requirements
- Strong frontend chops (React, TypeScript, Next.js or similar)
- Taste for aesthetic judgment and ability to fix interfaces
- Ability to go from a rough idea to a polished, interactive implementation without waiting for a spec
- Daily use of AI tools to accelerate work, knowing how to prompt, iterate, and ship with them
- Understanding of backend concepts (APIs, data flow, auth)
- Experience building things with good motion and interaction
- Experience with Figma or similar design tools for rapid prototyping (plus)
- Care about accessibility (plus)
- Read fiction, build worlds, or create things for fun (plus)
Responsibilities
- Design and implement features end-to-end — from concept to production
- Move fast using AI-powered dev tools (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) to ship at an impossible pace
- Own the frontend experience — layout, interaction, motion, polish
- Work directly with engineering and product, iterate in hours not weeks
- Communicate directly without corporate padding
