Requirements
- 7+ years in product management
- Experience with security, identity and access, infrastructure, or developer platform products
- Deep working knowledge of authentication
- Deep working knowledge of authorization (RBAC, RLS)
- Deep working knowledge of audit logging
- Deep working knowledge of secrets management
- Deep working knowledge of OAuth
- Track record of leading cross-functional initiatives across Product, Engineering, Security, GTM, and Compliance
- Experience driving multi-team RFCs from proposal to shipped code
- Comfortable in a remote, async, write-it-down culture
- Exceptional writer
Responsibilities
- Set the security agenda for the platform.
- Lead Supabase's platform security roadmap end-to-end, from prototyping defaults to Fortune 500 CISO advanced controls.
- Hold the line between security and developer experience.
- Lead our security strategy for AI agents, including authentication, scoping, and auditing agent activity.
- Own our security product surface (firewall, security advisors, audit logs, Supabase Vault, just-in-time database access, IAM primitives).
- Define the unified access model across Supabase (roles, permissions, personal access tokens, OAuth integrations, organization and project modeling, SSO, SCIM).
- Drive the compliance roadmap (SOC2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, PCI, FedRAMP).
- Be the customer's voice for security, translating feedback into a roadmap.
- Ship the docs that go with the code, making security guides clear, opinionated, and trustworthy.
