Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI engineering
- At least 5 years in senior leadership roles managing and scaling teams
- Proven experience building and deploying AI/ML platforms and production-grade machine learning systems in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP)
- Strong expertise in machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, experimentation design (A/B testing), and production system design
- Demonstrated experience applying, fine-tuning, and integrating LLMs and NLP techniques into real-world production use cases
- Deep understanding of MLOps/LLMOps practices, including tools such as MLflow, AWS SageMaker, or GCP Vertex AI
- Strong product thinking with the ability to translate ambiguous business needs into structured, scalable technical solutions
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to executive and cross-functional stakeholders
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field is preferred
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the long-term AI and data science strategy, ensuring alignment with product vision and company objectives.
- Translate complex product requirements into scalable machine learning and AI-driven solutions, including NLP, predictive models, and generative AI capabilities.
- Drive the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) and advanced NLP techniques into core product features such as text analytics, sentiment analysis, and content generation.
- Own and evolve the end-to-end ML lifecycle, including experimentation, deployment, monitoring, and continuous optimization in production environments.
- Establish technical standards for model development, MLOps/LLMOps practices, and scalable AI infrastructure.
- Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing teams of data scientists and machine learning engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Partner closely with product and engineering leadership to embed AI capabilities into the platform and accelerate the shift toward an AI-first product experience.
