CoLab Software empowers manufacturing teams to launch life-changing products years sooner. We pioneered an AI-powered design review and issue-tracking platform, serving major clients like Ford, Komatsu, and Johnson Controls. Our platform creates a knowledge repository of design feedback, decisions, and lessons learned. AI agents then use this data to proactively flag issues on future designs. This drastically minimizes project time lost due to poor communication, allowing teams to shorten development cycles and decrease manufacturing defects. From our first customer in 2019, CoLab quickly grew to serve global industry leaders.

Engineering at CoLab Software

Engineers at CoLab build the AI platform for driving stronger mechanical engineering decisions. You will craft AI/ML-driven products leveraging LLMs, VLMs, and agent-based systems. We tackle complex challenges in infrastructure for ML systems, including evaluation, observability, and data pipelines. Our work involves browser-based 3D/2D graphics engines and Computer Aided Design (CAD) software. We integrate with major PLM systems like Windchill and Teamcenter, supporting over 30 CAD file types. You will influence technical architecture and tooling decisions, consistently shipping meaningful, reliable AI capabilities.
