Requirements
- 13+ years of experience in backend development, distributed systems, and cloud architecture.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Python, with deep experience in FastAPI and API design.
- Proven experience working with Google Cloud Platform services such as Cloud Run, Firestore, Pub/Sub, IAM, and GCS.
- Solid background in designing and scaling multi-tenant SaaS applications in production environments.
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, system design, and cloud security principles.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to lead technical discussions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in distributed teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Python (FastAPI), ensuring high performance and reliability in production environments.
- Architect and implement multi-tenant SaaS systems with strict data isolation, secure access control, and robust Firestore security rules.
- Develop and optimize cloud-native infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, including Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Firestore, IAM, and Google Cloud Storage.
- Define and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, automating build, testing, and deployment workflows for Cloud Run services.
- Ensure production readiness by conducting reviews of scalability, security, performance, and infrastructure configurations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance on backend and cloud architecture best practices.
