Job Details

8+ years of experience in backend software engineering
Proven track record of architectural leadership, system design, and technical team leadership.
Deep expertise in designing distributed systems, modern APIs (REST, GraphQL)
Experience with microservices or modular monoliths, and complex data models.
Strong programming skills in modern backend languages (such as Python, Go, or similar)
Demonstrated experience leading, training, and leveling up mid-level and junior engineers.
Solid understanding of public cloud environments, containerization, and cost-effective cloud-native systems.
Strong grasp of modern data storage and processing, including relational databases, caching layers, and asynchronous messaging/event queues.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Lead the technical direction of core backend systems and serve as a cornerstone for engineering culture.
Design scalable cloud architectures and establish rigorous engineering standards.
Train, mentor, and guide developers to elevate their skills.
Ensure the platform remains resilient, performant, and ready to scale alongside AI capabilities.
Design, build, and evolve scalable, resilient, and high-performing backend services and APIs.
Act as an expert guide for the engineering team through architectural whiteboarding, pair programming, and code reviews.
Lead by example by tackling complex technical challenges and writing clean, maintainable code.
Define and enforce organization-wide best practices for system design, database schemas, automated testing, and observability.
Partner closely with Product, Platform, and AI engineering teams to ensure architectural alignment.
