Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a software engineer
- Experience designing, developing and launching backend systems
- Proficiency in Python or Kotlin
- Familiarity with distributed systems concepts
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with MySQL
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Ability to design and implement solutions interacting with multiple software components
- Ability to write clear, easily understood, well tested and extensible code
- Comfortable navigating large code bases
- Comfortable debugging others' code
- Ability to provide feedback through code reviews
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Takes ownership of growth and seeks feedback
Responsibilities
- Break down larger projects into individual tasks
- Deliver tasks in multiple phases
- Collaborate with others to ensure timely delivery
- Collaborate with product management, design & analytics
- Participate in ideation
- Articulate technical constraints
