Requirements
- 7+ years of data analysis experience with deep knowledge of growth marketing and product KPIs, full funnel performance, and the ability to connect marketing and product insights to drive business growth
- Full mastery of SQL, including complex joins, CTEs, and analytical functions
- Strong hands-on Python proficiency
- Familiarity with dbt (not a strict requirement)
- Experience setting up and managing data pipelines with a strong understanding of data workflow orchestration
- Hands-on experience designing and running A/B tests and experimentation frameworks with the ability to translate results into clear growth recommendations
- Capable of creating intuitive dashboards and visualizations to communicate complex insights clearly
- Strong communicator who can simplify complex data ideas for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Aligned with the values outlined in Kraken's Tentaclements document
- A degree in a field emphasizing analytical rigor such as analytics, software engineering, or economics
- Based in the US, Canada, UK, Germany, Spain, Cyprus or Portugal with flexibility on working hours to support a globally distributed team
Responsibilities
- Own the design of dashboards, growth marketing metrics, and performance reports, turning data into actionable insights for stakeholders, cross-functional partners, and regional marketing teams
- Automate growth marketing data solutions, reporting workflows, and pipelines to boost efficiency and minimize manual intervention
- Dive into large, complex datasets to turn findings into scalable data models that facilitate full funnel reporting, analytics, and ML models
- Translate growth marketing and business requests into accurate reports and automated data pipelines using Python, SQL, dbt, and Airflow
- Lead cross-functional projects with analysts, engineers, and growth marketing teams to build and maintain high-quality data pipelines and sources
- Drive experimentation infrastructure by leading the design and launch of A/B testing frameworks, testing hypotheses, and translating results into clear growth recommendations
- Support ad-hoc data requests for campaign performance, client onboarding, growth reviews, and day-to-day business needs
- Deliver insights that shape growth direction through clear, data-driven storytelling
