Requirements
- 2+ years of video editing experience
- Experience in editing videos for social media or documentaries
- Openness and current experience with AI tools that can improve current workflows
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects
- Experience with CapCut or AI editing tools is a plus
- Strong portfolio showcasing video edits for social media and/or documentaries
- Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for storytelling through visuals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English
- Deep understanding of social media trends and the evolving nature of digital consumer behavior
Responsibilities
- Utilize CapCut to create innovative and visually appealing videos.
- Testing new AI video editing software tools and conducting training with respective video editors to improve their efficiency and quality when creating social media ads.
- Design and edit video ads tailored for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, ensuring each video is optimized for its respective platform.
- Produce videos that not only look great but also captivate viewers within the first few seconds, effectively "stopping the scroll."
- Seamlessly integrate internal video footage with stock footage, ensuring a cohesive and engaging narrative.
- Implement compelling text overlays and animations to enhance the video's message.
- Select and integrate music tracks that resonate with the video's messaging and amplify viewer engagement.
- Understand and implement video editing techniques that resonate with the target customer for the specific product or brand being advertised.
- Work closely with the marketing and content teams to align on campaign objectives and creative direction.
