Requirements
- Master's Degree or higher (Completion of a BSN and a graduate of a Nurse Practitioners Master's Degree, or hold a Doctorate in Nursing)
- Valid Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) / Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Active DEA License in good standing
- PMHNP-BC: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certified
- 3–5 years of cumulative experience as a PMHNP
- Prior supervisory experience or demonstrated interest in supervision
- Ability to document concurrently during patient sessions
- Experience in outpatient settings
- Empathetic, collaborative, and supportive of psychotherapy practices
- Experience practicing Psychotherapy and Psychopharmacology synchronously
- Passion for educating, mentoring, and supervising clinicians
- Ability to interpret clinical and operational data to guide decisions
- Proficiency with technology platforms (Google Suite required; EHR/EMR systems preferred)
- Intermediate technical aptitude
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent quality clinical care on a consistent basis that exemplifies Rivia Mind’s culture, values, and guiding principles
- Maintain a reduced individual caseload relative to non-supervisory Nurse Practitioners to accommodate leadership, oversight, and team development responsibilities
- Maintain a consistent weekly patient care schedule in alignment with Rivia Mind’s standard productivity expectations
- Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations and develop curated patient-centered treatment plans
- Provide appropriate Psychotherapy practices that leverage various modalities (CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, etc.) with proper Psychopharmacology prescribing practices
- Lead a team, fostering excellent patient care and a positive, growth-oriented culture
- Provide clinical guidance on complex or high-risk cases to ensure safe, high-quality care
- Review patient complaints and Clinical Ops escalations regarding supervisee performance; provide appropriate feedback
- Lead onboarding, orientation, and training for new prescribing team members
- Facilitate weekly team meetings to communicate updates, address challenges, and reinforce accountability
- Audit documentation and prescriptions; provide feedback, education, and disciplinary steps as appropriate
- Oversee and respond to high-risk cases via High Risk GChat, and be responsive to any inquiries that arise
- Perform administrative tasks such as cosigning team member notes and signing PAs
