Job Details

5+ years of experience as a Product Designer in designing for Web
Experience in creating reusable components and patterns, preparing supporting documentation
Advanced proficiency in Figma (tokens, variables, slots etc.)
Ability to leverage AI-driven automation to enhance design system scalability, documentation accuracy, and workflow efficiency
Experience with tools and platforms for managing a design system
Understanding of development principles to ensure feasibility of designs and effective collaboration with engineering teams
Knowledge of user-centered design principles and techniques
Effective communication and collaboration in a cross-team environment, including designers, developers, and product managers
Proven skills in leading the design requirements independently to arrive at solutions

Create new components, collaborating with feature teams and design system developers on specs, structure, and rules
Make updates to existing components as needs arise
Utilize AI-integrated workflows to automate documentation and design system maintenance
Prepare component structure and usage documentation, as well as write information on paradigms, processes, and similar topics
Review design specs built by feature designers to assure they follow the most up-to-date patterns
Be a resource for design and non-design audiences to consult with for advice on accessibility
Work with teams to determine effective delivery dates of design system output
Utilize data and research to drive design decision-making
Onboard new teammates to the rules and processes of the design system
Write effectively to communicate and justify design decisions to stakeholders
Сreate and maintain processes for managing, scaling, and updating the design system, along with continuing to be an advocate for the system
