Requirements
- Bachelorâs degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related technical field
- 3â5 years of experience in security operations, SOC, incident response, or IT operations with a strong security focus
- Solid understanding of security monitoring, incident handling, access management, and logging practices in production environments
- Experience supporting security controls aligned to frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001/42001
- Hands-on experience working in cloud and modern technology environments, including macOS, AWS, and Linux-based systems
- Familiarity with SIEM, SAST, DAST, WAF and cloud security technology
- Experience reviewing security events, investigating incidents, and contributing to follow-up activities
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), GSOC or GIAC Applied Knowledge Certifications
- Cloud security certifications from AWS or Azure, or Comparable hands-on security credentials
Responsibilities
- Monitor and investigate security events across network, platforms, and cloud environments
- Support security incident response through investigation, escalation, and follow-up activities
- Review authentication activity, access controls, and system configurations to identify potential gaps
- Support with maintaining the effectiveness of security operational controls and practices, aligned with SOC 2 and ISO requirements
- Maintain and support logging and monitoring controls across infrastructure and cloud services
- Participate in BCP/DR testing and related documentation activities
- Support the Information Security team with ongoing governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) activities
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product to support secure software development practices
- Work cross-functionally to support security operations and customer trust initiatives
