  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a front desk, patient coordinator, or similar role within a U.S. healthcare setting
  • At least 1 year of experience handling workers’ compensation cases in a medical practice or law firm
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Experience in personal injury and workers’ compensation (med-legal) workflows
  • Confident communicating with patients, attorneys, and referral partners

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the front-line patient coordinator
  • Serve as Executive Assistant to a physician
  • Coordinate, schedule, and confirm patient appointments, with a focus on workers’ compensation cases
  • Professionally handle incoming calls and patient inquiries
  • Manage administrative tasks related to workers’ compensation case workflows
  • Oversee cancellations, rescheduling, and patient follow-ups
  • Communicate effectively with case managers, adjusters, and referral sources
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date case documentation
  • Track appointments, authorizations, and key case updates to ensure timely processing
