- Strong organizational skills
- Strong time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in claims management software
- Previous workers compensation adjusting experience (e.g., taking statements, paying lost wage benefits, filing state forms, denying claims, subrogation, litigation)
- Experience handling claims in multiple jurisdictions
Responsibilities
- Investigate workers compensation claims
- Evaluate workers compensation claims
- Negotiate workers compensation claims
- Settle workers compensation claims on behalf of clients
- Take statements
