Requirements
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred
- Working knowledge of GAAP principles
- Experience using NetSuite or comparable ERP systems preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in financial records
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with a results-oriented approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Resourceful, self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Curious mindset with the confidence to ask questions and seek clarification when needed
- High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity
Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries
- Post manual cash journal entries and resolve refunds and payment transactions collaborating with cross functional teams
- Maintain and update accounting records
- Support month-end and year-end close with accruals, prepaids, adjustments and reconciliations
- Prepare bank account reconciliations
- Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts
- Research and correct account discrepancies
- Report to accounting manager and suggest process improvements
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues
