Requirements

  • 1–3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred
  • Working knowledge of GAAP principles
  • Experience using NetSuite or comparable ERP systems preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in financial records
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a results-oriented approach
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Resourceful, self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Curious mindset with the confidence to ask questions and seek clarification when needed
  • High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity

Responsibilities

  • Prepare journal entries
  • Post manual cash journal entries and resolve refunds and payment transactions collaborating with cross functional teams
  • Maintain and update accounting records
  • Support month-end and year-end close with accruals, prepaids, adjustments and reconciliations
  • Prepare bank account reconciliations
  • Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts
  • Research and correct account discrepancies
  • Report to accounting manager and suggest process improvements
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues
