Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software development in backend-heavy or platform roles
- Experience in SaaS, API-first, or infrastructure environments
- Experience with real-time, large-scale APIs
- Experience with asynchronous processing
- Proficiency in Ruby
- Familiarity with AWS
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with Kafka
- Shipped public-facing APIs
- Care about API developer experience (documentation, consistency, error handling, versioning)
- Strong written and verbal English communication
Responsibilities
- Work on the backbone from incoming API call to real-time fraud decision
- Handle token decoding, signal processing, rule evaluation, response assembly
- Own parts of the API pipeline alongside the Platform team
- Focus on customer-integrated APIs
- Develop the backend of client-side SDK pipelines
- Implement enterprise capabilities for large accounts
