- Familiarity with Kafka
- Experience with event-driven architectures
- Experience with production observability
Responsibilities
- Define how Castle's detection platform runs
- Co-own the detection platform
- Bridge Platform and Intelligence teams
- Shape the design of building blocks
- Shape the deployment of building blocks
- Shape the monitoring of building blocks
- Figure out how to solve detection problems described by the research team
- Consider platform stability, such as failure scenarios, load behavior, and memory cost
- Enable researchers to ship new detection rules confidently
