Requirements
- 12+ years of software engineering experience, including significant work in AI, ML, automation, or data engineering
- Proven track record of leading large-scale, multi-team technical initiatives from concept to production
- Strong systems design and architectural judgment, with the ability to balance scalability, reliability, and speed of delivery
- Experience mentoring engineers and raising technical standards through design reviews, code reviews, and coaching
- Ability to influence technical direction across teams through collaboration and sound technical reasoning
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex systems to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong coding ability in languages such as Python, Java, Go, or Scala, with hands-on experience in production systems
- Experience working with cross-functional partners including product, design, infrastructure, and governance teams
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and fast-changing environments
- Experience contributing to platform-scale or enterprise-wide engineering initiatives is highly valued
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the technical vision for AI, intelligence systems, and data platforms while ensuring alignment with broader organizational strategy and long-term product goals
- Lead the design and evolution of scalable AI architectures, data pipelines, and intelligent services, contributing hands-on when needed
- Defining and communicating the technical direction for AI, ML, automation, and data initiatives across multiple teams
- Leading architecture design for scalable, secure, and high-performance AI systems and data platforms
- Building and optimizing intelligent services, distributed systems, and data pipelines from concept to production
- Identifying opportunities to simplify systems, reduce risk, and improve engineering efficiency and reliability
- Evaluating and integrating emerging AI/ML technologies to maintain a forward-looking technical ecosystem
- Partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to translate technical capabilities into measurable business outcomes
- Driving innovation in model development, data engineering, search, and intelligent decision systems
- Providing mentorship, technical leadership, and design guidance to engineers and data scientists
- Supporting strategic planning, roadmap definition, and execution of high-impact, complex initiatives
- Promoting engineering best practices including CI/CD, testing, observability, and operational excellence
