Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in QA Engineering with a focus on automation and test strategy
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Java, or similar) for writing automated tests
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Playwright is a strong plus)
- Strong experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, or equivalents)
- Exposure to backend service testing (a plus)
- Experience in cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testing
- Mobile testing experience on both iOS and Android
- Familiarity with performance testing concepts and tools (nice to have)
- Deep understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and QA’s role in shaping product quality early in the cycle
- Strong knowledge of test pyramid principles and best practices for balancing manual vs automated test coverage
- Practical experience with Jira and TestRail (or similar test management tools)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Self-discipline and adaptability to succeed in a remote-first environment
- Availability in a timezone similar to European time
Responsibilities
- Ensure continuous delivery of high-quality system
- Work with engineers to design testing plans for various types of systems
- Master the skills in defining suitable test strategies for different types of systems
- Master the skills in defining suitable test automation for different types of systems
- Decide regression test coverage independently
- Strong ownership of manual test efforts, complemented with automation where it adds most value
