- Experience with operating your code
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code
- Proficiency in Go (primary language, but flexibility valued)
- Engineering/software development experience within a Platform group (bonus)
- Experience working in a cloud environment (bonus)
- Infrastructure as Code with Terraform/Crossplane (bonus)
- Familiarity with Kubernetes administration (bonus)
- Experience/Interest in implementing, integrating, and maintaining observability systems and processes (bonus)
Responsibilities
- Help internal engineers release their software onto our infrastructure in secure and measurable ways
- Lead automation of release processes (CI/CD to bootstrapping)
- Help internal engineering teams get on board with 'golden path' techniques
- Contribute to the squad's roadmap and decision-making process
- Maintain, improve and extend the Internal Engineering Platform (IEP)
- Manage and develop CI/CD platforms
- Develop build, release and deployment automation
- Manage application configuration tooling
- Automate 'up to date' software
- Manage artefacts
- Work with diverse internal teams to support implementation of their requirements
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support Platform tooling
