- Experience writing scripts in JavaScript
- Experience with manual testing and knowledge of qTest and Test Rail
- Ability to differentiate between functional testing and performance testing
- Design, execute and document functional and performance tests
- Experience with JUnit, JMeter
- Experience testing REST APIs
- Understand the difference between unit test and integration test
- Familiarity with code coverage analysis
- 3+ years previous experience working as a QA automation engineer
- Advanced programming skills including automation systems and databases
- Detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols
- Eagerness for both manual and automated testing practices
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good project management skills
Responsibilities
- Meet with the software design team to discuss verification protocols
- Identify software application weaknesses and target areas
- Sketch out ideas for automated software test procedures
- Review software bug reports and highlight problem areas
- Write automation scripts and implement software applications
- Design and install software databases
- Troubleshoot automation software and finalize system procedures
- Identify quality issues and create test reports
- Collaborate with the design team to solve application faults
