Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience building and scaling robust automation frameworks.
- Deep understanding of software quality assurance methodologies.
- Proven experience in Agile environments, specifically utilizing TDD (Test-Driven Development) and BDD (Behavior-Driven Development).
- Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Extensive experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Extensive experience with Cucumber (Gherkin).
- Extensive experience with RSpec.
- Extensive experience with FactoryBot.
- Extensive experience with Capybara.
- Extensive experience with Selenium.
- Extensive experience with SitePrism.
- Extensive experience with HTML/CSS.
- Extensive experience with JavaScript.
- Proficiency in Bitbucket for version control.
- Comfort level navigating complex ticket-based workflows (Jira).
Responsibilities
- Shape and execute a comprehensive automated / Manual testing strategy that scales with our platform.
- Design sophisticated test scenarios covering front-end features, back-end data integrity, third-party integrations, and strict regulatory compliance.
- Build and maintain a sustainable library of functional and integration tests, including program code for automated scripts and high-fidelity test data.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to review functional specifications, identifying edge cases and defining requirements for end-to-end use cases.
- Adhere to and optimize our formal workflows. You will validate functionality, enhance code quality through peer reviews, and provide transparent reporting on test results.
- Act as an intermediate-to-senior technical resource, working in a tight feedback loop with the Product and Tech teams to deliver collaborative, high-quality solutions.
