Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineering role within a B2B SaaS software company.
  • Experience focused on selling to DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or FinOps teams.
  • Directly addressing challenges related to Kubernetes or cloud cost management.
  • Deep and demonstrable understanding of Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE, OpenShift).
  • Understanding of associated DevOps best practices.
  • Hands-on experience working with SaaS solutions focusing on cloud environments (observability, optimization, FinOps, Platform Engineering).
  • Exceptional data analysis skills with various monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
  • Strong track record of leveraging product data to construct compelling business cases and ROI justifications.
  • Exceptional ability to articulate complex Kubernetes concepts and PerfectScale functionalities.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a genuine passion for continuous learning.
  • Proven experience working with and presenting to executive-level prospects and customers.
  • Demonstrated experience with modern technical selling best practices.
  • Successful track record in competitive sales environments.
  • Prior professional experience as a Kubernetes DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, SRE, or FinOps professional is a plus.
  • Proven history of success in a fast-paced and scaling business.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Account Executives to understand technical environment, Kubernetes challenges, and business objectives.
  • Own and drive technical validation and Proof of Concepts (POCs) for PerfectScale.
  • Develop and deliver compelling and tailored PerfectScale platform demonstrations.
  • Develop business cases and robust ROI analyses for PerfectScale.
  • Become the go-to expert for PerfectScale within the company.
  • Take ownership of the technical win for PerfectScale engagements.
  • Represent DoiT and PerfectScale at company events and industry conferences.
  • Ensure timely entry of data into internal business support solutions.
