Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory control, supply chain operations, internal audit, or related analytical roles.
  • Strong experience with ERP systems (NetSuite or similar) and warehouse management systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit processes.
  • Experience with vendor reconciliation and troubleshooting inventory discrepancies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with ambiguous or incomplete data while producing actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with BI and data tools such as SQL, Tableau, Snowflake, Alteryx, or Google Apps Script.
  • Automation mindset with experience improving or replacing manual processes through scalable solutions.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and enhance inventory control processes across multiple third-party logistics (3PL) warehouses and internal systems.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve synchronization issues between ERP systems (such as NetSuite) and warehouse management systems to ensure data accuracy.
  • Oversee inventory transactions including receipts, transfers, shipments, adjustments, and cycle counts.
  • Support physical inventory counts, variance investigations, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends in shrinkage, accuracy, excess stock, and operational inefficiencies.
  • Collaborate with finance, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to ensure alignment and reduce operational silos.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements, including SOX compliance and inventory control documentation.
  • Investigate complex inventory variances related to multi-location transfers, builds, and adjustments.
  • Maintain and improve SOPs, control frameworks, and reporting structures for inventory management.
  • Leverage automation tools and analytics platforms to streamline reporting and improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on incomplete or complex data sets.
