- Experience with complex stored procedures and performance tuning in SQL
- Deep understanding of Composer
- Deep understanding of PHPUnit
- Deep understanding of static analysis tools
- Deep understanding of CI/CD
- Deep understanding of Git
- Deep understanding of cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal)
- Mandatory experience in nearshore/offshore client-facing startup cultures
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of robust PHP architectures, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability
- Design and evolve seamless RESTful integrations to automate and streamline enterprise workflows
- Manage SQL environments, focusing on schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning
- Elevate team output through deep code reviews, technical mentorship of mid-level and junior engineers, and clear communication with stakeholders
- Proactively identify technical debt, reverse-engineer complex logic, and implement modern methodologies to improve efficiency
