Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in clinical operations, portfolio management, or resource planning within life sciences, diagnostics, or healthcare industries
  • 3+ years of direct experience in resource planning, capacity management, or portfolio operations with standardized tools and reporting systems
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and BI tools such as Power BI and portfolio platforms (e.g., Fusion Online, Epicflow)
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, GCP standards, and regulatory environments (FDA, EMA)
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influence skills in a global, matrixed organization
  • Experience with Lean, DBS, or continuous improvement methodologies is highly valued
  • Preferred: PMP, PMI-ACP, Prosci certification, CCPM knowledge, or experience applying AI/advanced analytics to resource optimization

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a scalable enterprise resource allocation and portfolio management framework supporting global Clinical Affairs operations.
  • Develop and standardize processes, tools, and governance models to optimize resource planning and deployment across clinical programs.
  • Build dashboards and reporting systems to track resource utilization, capacity forecasting, and portfolio performance.
  • Lead onboarding and training initiatives to ensure consistent adoption of resource planning tools and methodologies across global teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align resource allocation decisions with business priorities and clinical development strategies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and DBS methodologies to enhance efficiency and operational maturity.
  • Support integration of planning systems and processes across multiple clinical and operational platforms.
