Requirements
- Already work as a Staff Engineer and have impact on department level
- Extensive experience in modern software engineering and distributed systems
- Strong architectural thinking and ability to align teams and stakeholders on technical decisions
- Deep experience with event-driven systems
- Deep experience with microservices
- Deep experience with AWS-based architectures
- Familiarity with data warehouse concepts
- Familiarity with data modeling
- Familiarity with data governance
- Familiarity with data pipelines
- Familiarity with data quality frameworks
- Solid understanding of AI concepts such as LLMs, embeddings, vector search, agents, and automation patterns
- Experience integrating AI capabilities into existing systems or workflows and assessing feasibility, risk, and impact
- Fluent in English
Responsibilities
- Provide architectural and technical leadership by driving scalable architectures and long-term technical improvements across teams
- Support engineers hands-on in designing and implementing high-quality services, distributed systems, and data pipelines
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and other Staff Engineers to align on architectural decisions and technical direction
- Evaluate and integrate AI technologies where they strengthen systems, processes, or product capabilities with measurable impact
- Enable responsible AI adoption by defining best practices, guidelines, and reusable patterns across engineering
- Mentor engineers and drive cross-team alignment while reducing complexity and improving engineering-wide consistency
